      • Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer

        This second installment of the Urusei Yatsura films follows the people of Tomobikicho that have been thrown into an alternative dream world created by the main antagonist, Mujaki. The first film, Urusei Yatsura: Only You, was also directed by Mamoru Oshii, and captivated both anime fans and non-anime fans. Mamoru Oshii made his mark in the anime world with this movie.

        This sci-fi action movie is the first movie based on the Patlabor series, which started as an original video anime in 1988. Set in a world with human-shaped robots called “Labors,” this cybercrime thriller and robot action movie focuses on the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Special Vehicle Section 2, Division 2 squad fighting crime.

        VLADLOVE is a comedy about a high school girl and a beautiful vampire. Mamoru Oshii’s first comedy since Urusei Yatsura, the new anime series with a “girl meets girl” theme is a must-see for all fans.
